The Truth About Global Warming And Hillary Care

Somebody needs to tell the global warming crew to send a little global warmth to Indiana. Today the wind chill was -20 (and I work outside). When I was a kid there was an ensuing ice age (before it changed to global warming). Over the years these (same) fear mungers have made multiple billions $ $ $ $ in the arena of fear exploitation.

I have often wondered why nations who are not free, who have exceedingly high Co2 emissions (Can you say CHINA?) are never cited by the world community. Yet the US is always under extreme scrutiny. Why? Could it be because we're FREE? (at least we are for now).

Last year our C02 emissions were reduced dramatically. A few years ago the global community almost had a conniption fit because we (the US) refused to join Kioto. A few months ago ALL of the nations who joined Kioto were subjected to international fines costing billions of dollars per nation for failing to lower their co2 emissions to appropriate levels.

Not one nation was able to meet these benchmarks; because these benchmarks are virtually impossible to meet, especially on a consistent basis.

Folks, it's time for us to unite and quit being used as political pawns. Global warming is a natural phenomena that's been going on for centuries. According to reliable scientific evidence global warming is caused by the sun. Co2 emissions do not cause global warming; they are a result of global warming. Every nation who joined Kioto will now pay dearly through the raising of their taxes. This is nothing more than an international shakedown. It's pure socialism veiled in an unproven dogma about wanting to save the planet.

In the communist manifesto, in order to control large masses of people a government(s) must do two basic things: disarm the public (That's why when you hear about gun control "we need to get more guns off of the streets in order to reduce crime rates," said the politician; they NEVER EVER address the fact that criminals DON'T obey laws.

That's because public safety is not the real issue. The real underlying issue is 3 simple words: restriction-of-freedoms.). The second thing a government must do in order to control large masses of people is to control the flow of money. The more of your money the government has means the more control the government has over you. Remember our country was founded upon the precepts of a severe injustice known as "taxation without representation." That's right! Spending YOUR MONEY has always been a big deal as far as the government is concerned! That's the true underlying theme behind Hillary Care, gun control, tax hikes, man made global warming. etc... That's why nations such as China get a free pass even though their C02 emissions are astronomical.

Folks, we've got to wake up! Does anyone out there really believe that our politicians have the right to take more of our money? Does anyone believe that they have been handling our money in such a responsible fashion that they deserve more of it? If you do then I most certainly have nothing more to say to you concerning this matter. GOOD BYE! (at least for now).

When politicians talk about the national deficit, they're the ones who caused it. When you hear them talking about a possible recession guess who caused it? That's right! They did. Since 2002 they have had an absolute field day spending our money without any real restraints. Now the national deficit is equivalent to each American citizen owing the government 0,000 per citizen. The solution so far has been to keep on borrowing from China (our good socialist friends). If the government doesn't cap spending quickly this could prove to be very dangerous, especially as China's economy continues to grow in record proportions. Besides if our politicians got their out of control spending under control... (Note: Do you hear any of the candidates talking about spending caps? Of course not. Although some are talking about raising taxes even in lieu of a possible oncoming recession. Now what sense does that make? The government will give us a portion of our money back in the form of a stimulus package in order to avoid a recession, but then some of the same candidates who support the stimulus package want to turn around and take our money right back again in the form of a severe tax hike.). The truth is that people like Hillary Clinton would not have to sheepishly admit (like she did the other day) that she intends to garnish our wages (That's right! And you will have no say so in the matter whatsoever) in order to pay for her socialized health care plan. If Ms Clinton would just introduce a bill (no pun intended) that would cap government spending, in a few years she would have more than enough money to pay for her socialized health care plan (to the tune of 6 hundred billion $ $ $ $ per year). But then again, it's just like global warming. Her health care package has nothing to do with helping people. It's all about getting her elected, as well as giving the government more power & control over our lives (alias: a restriction of our freedoms).

Folks, don't be fooled any longer! There are solutions out there to every problem we face but, we, the people, have to quit buying in to these crazy socialist notions, protocols and ideas. We could end this silliness very quickly if we would just rise up and quit being willfully deceived.

Now the earth is going into another cooling period. So what does that tell you about (man-made) global warming? Are you going to be the next political pawn (alias: SUCKER) for the next money making socialist agenda that comes along? Brrrrrr! It's getting awfully cold! Feel the chill? Folks, the choice is yours. PEACE BE STILL!

About Global Warming

Nowadays, with the development of economy, more and more greenhouse gases are being discharged into the air.Co2 makes up about 70 present of greenhouse gases. It is considered to be one of the greatest reasons leading to global warming.

It is very serious, but many people have not recognized it because they only think about themselves as well as the present profits. They don’t mind the ice melting. They don’t mind how many animals become extinctive. They don’t mind how many coastal cities become flooded. They are wrong. Neglecting the environment in which they live in is equal to neglecting their rights as well as their offspring’s rights to sustain in this planet.

Global warming can have many strong influences for us. For example, global warming will enhance the sea level and several years later, many places will be immerged under water and many people will lose their hometown and thus some of them may become homeless. Meanwhile, global warming, as a tremendous change in nature, may cause the widespread of the many diseases and even epidemics. In this way, it is highly possible that people in the future may suffer physical miseries. At the same time, this climate change also will have great influence on people’s mental health, leading to some psychological problems. As to the nature itself, since global warming will give the air and ocean huge power, so it may bring serious natural disasters such as typhoons, hurricanes, tsunamis and other disasters. In that case, people will have to pay more to fight against these natural disasters and the living costs will increase terribly.

So we must take effective measures to save our planet. First, we should use more clean energy and less coal and oil. Since almost all of these resources are not recyclable. On the contrary, we must develop the technology to utilize the sustainable energy such as the solar energy or the wind. Second, we should go to work on foot or by bus inspect driving a car if possible. Everybody can make some contribution to building a low-carbon life. Third, we should plant more trees, because plants can turn Co2 into oxygen. More importantly, we should from the habit of saving energy in our daily life.

Global warming must come to the center of our concern since it not only will affect the quality of our life but also affect the existence of our offspring.

An Overview About Global Warming

You must believe that global warming is now a fact.

The US National Climatic Data Center declared that 2001 was the second year on record and it was 23rd chorological year of higher than normal temperatures. Most problems may be the fact of the increasing rate of the temperature. In addition, insurer Munich Re released the data which states that the numbers of people dying of natural disaster in 2001 were twice as many as in 2002 and insured losses grew up more than 50%. It is estimated by UNEP that the extra economic costs of disasters attributable to global warming are running at more than 0 billion annually.

Some 180 countries are proceeding toward an expected ratification of the Kyoto Protocol by the end of this year. Of the six gases it will control CO2 is by far the largest contributing nearly 90% of the global warming impact. The primary source of CO2 is the burning of fossil fuels. Therefore the focus on energy will continue to increase.

Throughout the world different methods are being used to encourage reduced energy use. Japan has enacted the Energy Conservation Law in 1999 mandating huge efficiency improvements by 2004 for nearly all air conditioning products. The U.S. has revised ASHRAE Standard 90.1 for buildings to raise the minimum COP level for centrifugal chillers from the current value of 5.2 to 6.1 effective in October 2001. DOE and Green Seal have revised their recommended efficiency levels to an even higher level of 6.27.

Some countries use laws. Others use codes and standards. An increasing number of countries are using environmental costing which increases the price of energy thereby increasing the financial attractiveness of high efficiency products. European countries have been using such "carbon taxes" for more than a decade. However a rapidly growing trend in developing countries is the reduction of subsidies to energy industries "so prices more accurately reflect environmental impacts" according to OECD's Environmental Strategy for the First Decade of the 21st Century.

China has shown leadership by reducing subsidies to the coal industry from .5 billion in 1990 to billion in 1996 resulting in 7% emissions reduction while seeing a solid economic growth of 36%! China is now moving aggressively into environmental costing with the just announced (1/13/2002) 5-year environmental plan that commits 700 billion yuan ( billion) to help protect the environment. The government will provide the fist 65 billion yuan to initiate the project but will apply the "polluter pays" principle for the rest. The "environmental protection authorities will collect funds from the pollution-producing companies". The impact on the price of energy is not known at this time. However it is clear that the addition of environmental costing will increase energy prices. According to a European Research Commission Report of July 2001 "The cost of producing electricity from coal or oil would double if costs such as damage to the environment and health were taken into account".

The global movement to high efficiency is accelerating just like the rate of temperature increase. But this is not all that is changing. This second environmental threat of global warming is making it clear that we need to give combined consideration to ozone depletion and global warming. But more important is the need to focus on the real issue which is the total environmental impact not address each individual environmental threat in isolation. This includes the concept of environmental risk exposure, which recognizes that there are other environmental threats that are less well understood today. However, there are "no regrets" decisions we can make today (such as minimum refrigerant charge, minimum atmospheric life refrigerants, etc.) to minimize these risks.

Combined consideration would place more emphasis on reducing the use of CFCs, which are still being produced in developing countries until 2010 in accordance with the Montreal Protocol. Little attention is being given the large contribution to global warming from CFCs. Actions which cause confusion and delay the phaseout of CFCs cause increased environmental damage rather than lessening the environmental impact.

The other rapidly changing factor in the HVAC industry is the shift to becoming a hermetic industry, where refrigerant is contained throughout the life of a chiller and recycled for further use when the chiller is replaced. This simple understanding that "if it doesn't get into the environment it does no harm" is a powerful argument, which will lead to the continued use of the most efficient refrigerants in such closed hermetic applications as chillers. In just 15 years annual refrigerants emissions from chillers have been reduced from 25% to well below 1% today. This defines a whole different world than that which existed when the Montreal Protocol was crafted some 15 years ago.

But perhaps the most important change coming to our industry is the realization that there are no new or "perfect" refrigerants waiting to be discovered. There are eight elements that can be combined for use in a vapor compression cycle. All feasible combinations of these eight have been evaluated. The reality is "what we have now is all there is".

This recognition is why we are now seeing a shift from the search for a perfect refrigerant to a search for the right refrigerant(s) for the right application. Said another way, the highest efficiency refrigerants for the lowest emissions applications. Many in our industry call this "Responsible Use".

Concern About Global Warming

In the last thirty years, global warming seemed to be a joke.

People talked about it as ironic words as "tree hugers" or simply "freaks". Signs of global warming were often ignored. Nowadays, the situation has changed.

Global warming is no longer a joke. Instead, it is a very serious, very active threat that is taken more and more seriously. Because the signs can no longer be ignored. Heat waves, hurricanes, blizzards, melting ice caps, floods, droughts, freak storms. All of these are obvious signs. Signs, that something is different. Signs, that something is wrong.

Science is now proving what "tree hugers" and "freaks" have been saying for the last few decades - something must be changed or the world as we know it will come to an end! And doing something, anything, is extremely important. Each person can contribute to reducing global warming. By making small, individual changes, we can make a difference. It does not matter where and how do you make a change. You can use public transport instead of your own car, you can use solar cells instead of usual electricity power, you can also tell people about global warming and help others to understand it and many more.

But taking the first step can sometimes be daunting. One simply doesn't know where to start. A good place to do so is the GWboard.com community. More About Global Warming

Global Warming is said to be the rise in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere due to the green house gases like Carbon-di- oxide, Methane, Nitrous oxide and Ozone in the atmosphere. The "Greenhouse effect" caused by these gases warms the atmosphere naturally as this effect traps the sun's radiation and act as a thermal blanket by maintain the Earth's temperature within a livable limit of about 59 degree Fahrenheit. If the Earth did not have this thermal blanket, then the planet in which we all live in would probably be about 80 degree cooler than it is at present, making it very cold and difficult for us to survive and live in the planet. Global Warming is responsible for maintaining the temperature of the atmosphere.

The above factors that have been discussed are all related to the natural greenhouse effect and the natural global warming that will result in the normal climatic changes.

But, nowadays, people relate the global warming topic to the adverse climatic changes that they are experiencing, which means that there is an increase over and above the permissible level of the temperature in the Earth's atmosphere which is influencing the varying climatic patterns. Nature seems to be always warning us of the influence of global warming in this modern world and the few signs that have been brought to our notice includes the melting of the glaciers, increase in the sea levels, the recent Tsunami that caused huge damage to life and property, more than normal heat waves experienced in many countries etc.

The climate of the Earth is always changing. Earlier, the changes in the climate were all natural and were considered seasonal.

But the frequent changes in the Earth's climate, since the early 1900, have been identified to be caused by human behavior rather than due to the effect of the natural changes in the atmosphere. Since the industrial revolution, there has been lot of burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas which results in letting out a lot of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, mainly Carbon- di- oxide or CO2 into the atmosphere. There have been billions of tons of CO2 that are burned into the atmosphere every year and the amount is increasing by about 3% every year.

The Amazon forest is also turning out to be a major carbon sink. It is reported that there is a net loss of rain forest along with the increase of carbon into the atmosphere. Deforestation is the main cause for the trees in the Amazon rain forests to not completely soak up the carbon let out into the atmosphere and this may also lead to varying climatic changes due to the presence of global warming. The effects of the carbon gases in the atmosphere has not spared the oceans as well as they also act as a carbon sink. The effect of increased carbon in the atmosphere has made the oceans more acidic, causing damage to the sea creatures, bleaching corals and also further causing damage to the general health of the oceans of the world. This has led to increase in the sea levels and the warmer water due to the effect of the warmer atmosphere also has led to more intense and unusual weather and climatic changes.

The various climatic changes that may occur due to the increased global warming effect are melting of the glaciers, rise in the temperatures of the regions on the Northern Hemisphere, melting of snows in the temperate regions earlier than before, frequent storms and floods, dry land will go more drier, rise in winter and night temperature and a more humid atmosphere.

Warning About Global Warming

When our planet becomes a fiery place as the prediction of the global warming alarmists, all of human life and human development will be on fire to a crisp on the scorched surface of the globe.

It is believed that the cause of global warming is the people’s emissions of CO2 into the atmosphere.

In fact on one graph they will show you the increased in CO2 emissions from human civilizations and then they will show you another graph that charts the 1 1/2 percent increase in ambient surface temperatures on the planet over a 50 year period. Then they will say; see everyone, can see the data, obviously this is being cause by mankind?

About 6 years ago someone began tracking the sales of Prozac and began showing a chart of their sales next door to the chart of the stock market and the economy. When the sales of Prozac went up it matched the graph of the stock market. Nevertheless we know that the sales of Prozac have nothing to do whatsoever with the stock market or our nation's economy overall. And if so, just give every one Prozac to make the economy good, See everyone, can you see the data?

It should be a relatively easy consideration if you study logic and critical thinking, however apparently if the mass media says something over and over again enough times everyone will start believing it, which is completely and utterly ridiculous. But that is exactly what we have here with global warming.

Is it really global warming caused by mankind or is it more a global warning that there are cyclical changes occurring on earth with regards to our atmosphere and ambient surface temperatures? From a global warning perspective it does make sense to strengthen our civilizations and our infrastructure to handle the potential issues that lie ahead.

It does not make sense to crush our energy sector and weaken our economies over fear tactics that are completely invalid. If it is our intention to stop polluting that is a good thing. We should focus on that. Not the fear of global warming or some massive crisis that plagues the future of all living life on the service of the planet. I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007. Global Warming - How Much Do You Know About It?

Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century and its projected continuation (From Wikipedia). Then, how does global warming become one of the most serious environment issues, and what should we do to deal with this problem?

The recent attention to the topic of global warming is due to the fact that human actions have caused global warming on a scale and with a rapidity unseen before.

Global average air temperature near the Earth's surface has increased by 0.56-0.92 C over the last century. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change concludes that this observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in greenhouse gas concentrations due to such activities like burning coal and fossil fuels, cutting down forests, and overgrazing the land.

These activities have increased the greenhouse effect, which in turn, has warmed the temperatures near the Earth's surface and lower atmosphere.

Global warming has continued to be a major international policy issue since 1979, as the Rio Summit in 1992 proposed actions to constrain the emissions and the Kyoto Summit in December 1997 established binding agreements that would commit nation states to the constraints.

Europe, Japan, and the United States have agreed in principle to adopt the "Berlin Mandate" that requires them to cut their CO2 emissions to 15% below their 1990 levels by 2010. The US is not totally convinced this is the right approach, however, as the US Department of Energy has conducted a study that suggests the "Berlin Mandate" will not reduce world-wide emissions of CO2.

In fact, the study suggests that the "Berlin Mandate" could raise CO2 emissions because many energy intensive industries would be forced to leave the US, Europe, and Japan where the constraints are enforced to countries that have either not adopted the mandate or that don't strictly enforce them, and because those countries likely would have less energy efficient industries, that would likely raise the level of CO2 emissions.

Now, as you see, human behaviours have done a great harm to the earth.

If we still hope to live on this planet, if we are concerned about the future of our offspring, we should strive on to make up for the problems we have caused, such as global warming.
